About The Event
Portsdown Hill, Portsmouth, A location with beautiful views across Portsmouth, the Isle of Wight and the solent, but what most people don't know is that what lies beneath is a dark history with plenty of spirits willing to let you know they are there!
The amazing Fort was built in 1861 designed to defend Portsmouth from Sea, Land and Air and is one of the many forts that form the Palmerston Follies.
Located beneath the Parade Ground is a spiral staircase which leads to 4 main tunnels.
Each Tunnel with its own unique story and regular hauntings, including whispering voices, shadow figures and many reports of physical activity including objects being thrown and people being touched.
