Step into the shadows of Lee-on-Solent and explore one of the most unusual haunted locations in the UK. The Hovercraft Museum, built on the site of the former HMS Daedalus air base, is not only home to the world’s largest collection of hovercraft — it is also a place steeped in mystery, echoes of war, and unexplained phenomena.
For one night only, you’ll join us as we unlock the doors after dark and investigate the ghostly goings-on that have been reported here for decades.
A Site with History
HMS Daedalus: Established during WWI, the base trained generations of servicemen and women. Its hangars, workshops, and airstrips saw triumphs, tragedies, and untold human stories.
The Hovercraft Era: Today, the museum houses over 50 hovercraft, including the last remaining SR.N4 cross-Channel giant. But behind the engineering marvels lurks something more chilling.
