Manor Farm was once an isolated 15th Century farmhouse with its ancient duck pond and neighbouring St Bartholomew's Church being mentioned in the Domesday Book. The location was a working farm for over 600 years making it an ideal site for the BBC to film its historical drama Wartime Farm here in 2012. Staff and visitors often report strange smells and poltergeist activity such as doors closing as well as unexplained knocks and tapping. Some have seen full body apparitions, could these be the monks who travelled from Beaulieu to Netley Abbey via the deconsecrated church. Will you be lucky enough to experience the ghosts of children playing?
